How many people can honestly say they love their job? Having worked for almost 20 years in the catering industry in Galway, I can say with my hand on my heart that I love what I do! Every day I have the enjoyment of meeting new people and hearing their stories, talking about their love of food. Head Chef Val was recently describing to a bride how he would be making the port and beef jús for her wedding menu; she simply said “I am so glad you are catering my wedding”. Val’s passion for food is obvious to anybody who will lend him an ear! Next week we will be trialling some new Catering Galway wedding menu dishes. Val likes to push the boundery’s, always innovating and being experimental. The artist gets bored easily if he doesn’t try new things! Watch this space……
